We have 3 tree swallows this am in White Point so far today. They are
checking out houses. They are looking pretty tired and worn. I hope to get
to Summerville or Carters Beach in a bit. I have seen them actually rain
down onto those beaches on their arrival. I'd love to see that again.
Also we have had at the feeders ,in the past couple days,a Rusty Blackbird
travelling (?) with a group of Red winged blackbirds; a couple American
Goldfinches as well as a singing Purple Finch male. There was a Savannah
sparrow, a white Crowned Sparrow and many white throats aside from our
residents. A Chipping sparrow appeared, all very dapper. Love them. Has
anyone a shortage of Grackles. We have at least 30 extras, give or take
mates. I'll even pay the shipping on them...:?))

Happy Easter, Happy Spring if Easter isn't your bent.
