Hi James=2C
In my experience bluebirds will readily visit and use swallow boxes fo=
r nesting if they feel inclined. The hole size is no barrier. All the best.

Hi all:
=20
For the record. A pair of eastern bluebirds has been hanging around a tree=
swallow box for a number of days now at the residence of Judith Orr at Uni=
on Square=2C Lun. Co. I'm not sure if they would nest there as the hole li=
kely is too small=2C but I'm not sure about the hole size in the swallow bo=
xes in question=2C so who knows. Anyhow=2C a nice photo of the male was se=
nt and this is the first report for this species that I've had in Lunenburg=
County so far this year. =20
