Hi Paul, I have no easy answer at hand. I am sending your description on =
to my sister. She is the insect and butterfly expert in the family. We =
have more of the lovely big bees than I have ever seen before. I let =
the Creeping Charlie go for the blooms and it is covered. Now I have =
creeping charlie everywhere. I think it will rule the world!
Am so enjoying the sun. Marg

Hi Marg
I had a butterfly in the rhodos today - looked like a Monarck but the
bottom of the wing was black rather than orange.
Any ideas?
Lots of swallowtails and small orange and black fellows - look like =
skippers but I'm not sure.
The Bombus impatience bees have gotten so heavy they have a hard time =
lifting off. One was fluttering in the grass today so I put my hand down =
and she walked up my hand, then up my arm to my shoulder. Looked around =
for a few seconds and took off!
Enjoy the early summer
Paul
