Hi all:
=20
I've had a question about a flicker with the black moustache (a male) but m=
issing the red V on the back of the head. I see that in crosses between re=
d-shafted and yellow-shafted that the red V on the back of the head is not =
there. In this case does a red moustache show or a black one with the cros=
s. Bird books that I've looked at are unclear about this. Clarification w=
ould be appreciated. =20
