We visited a friend on the Blomidon Penninsula, near the town of
Blomidon, this past week, who told us that the cliffs on the Minas Basin
near his house where he walks from Houston Beach towards Cape Split had
about 1000 Bank Swallow nest cavities until just a few years ago. Now
there are 200 at the most.
