Monday mid-morning - Miner's Marsh, Kentville:

13+ Pied-billed Grebes :

- 9 together in one group consisting of 2 ads busily feeding 3 very
young 'grebelings', plus 4 slightly larger grebes tagging along but not
being fed by adults; a single youngster feeding by itself elsewhere and
another 3 +? seen disappearing behind tall, thick clump of marsh vegetation
- about the same size as the single one. Obviously the PBGRs have found the
marsh very much to their liking.

Cheers,
Judy Tufts
