The banding = project was part of a joint study by researchers at University of Quebec = at Montreal, Mass. Institute of Technology and the Mass. Dept. of = Conservation and Recreation as part of a study of movements and = population dynamics of Ring-billed Gulls in eastern North America. Note = the band reads C13 and the R is the colour thus RC13.=20 I have now seen several birds over the last few years that have been = banded in Mass. and pass through Pictou Co in migration.
