Hi All
Yesterday evening while I was driving along the bay, an otter
came swimming ashore. A great swimmer and a joy to watch.
It came ashore under a wharf and disappeared.
A little farther on a loon was in a tussle with a large fish,
large for a loon anyway. I couldn't tell what kind of a fish.
A Black backed Gull come over to help and as it landed the loon and the fish
disappeared under water. Pretty soon the loon surfaced but the fish was gone.
In the loons gullet or got away I couldn't tell. It was a good fight.
Enjoy the fall
Paul
