While the Isabella moth is not uncommon=2C they are certainly rarer than th=
e larvae.  I suspect like baby seal turtles=2C the larvae are heavily preda=
ted and parasitized during their fall wanderings. If you find a moth=2C pic=
k it up and hold it near your ear. They are one of the few moths i know tha=
t make a noise
