I was putting the garbage out at the new place this evening at around 21:20=
. There is a small brook that runs down past the shed where I store the ga=
rbage. I heard a noise and shone the flashlight into the brook and too my =
surprise what should I see but a beaver coming down the brook. Now this br=
ook is right beside the mouth of the LaHave River=2C which is saltwater. T=
here is a culvert that runs a long ways under the road and comes out on the=
shoreline of the river. This is where the beaver went=2C right into the c=
ulvert and it headed who knows where. Anyhow=2C not what I expected. I tho=
ught maybe the raccoon that I had been seeing as a regular or maybe the bea=
r=2C but certainly not a beaver. I'm actually glad it was a beaver and not=
the bear with her two cubs. =20
