Hi Lynn=2C
I own the first and last book you mention. Hawks From Every Angle (Liguori=
=2C 2005) is very photograph-heavy=2C with a proportionately small amount o=
f text. It features the most commonplace raptors in North America with emph=
asis on identification based on shape=2C behaviour and plumage. Hawks in Fl=
ight 2nd Ed. (Dunne=2C Sibley and Sutton=2C 2012) is more comprehensive=2C =
and features both photographs and black and white drawings by Sibley. This =
newer edition also features some rare birds of prey (from a North American =
perspective). This mostly means southern vagrants that are seen in Florida =
or Texas. Personally=2C I would give the edge to Hawks in Flight as it cove=
rs more species in greater detail=2C but it is a bit denser. If you like re=
ading about the species covered=2C it is the hands down winner between the =
two books. Hawks From Every Angle is still excellent=2C but is a bit narrow=
er in scope.
Hope this helps!

Hawks....

In Flight? At a Distance? or From Every Angle?

If you have a strong preference for one of these books over another=2C your=
 comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.
