The weather was perfect. It was overcast with some sun breaks, which was
ideal for better viewing at Port George. No annoying mirages. The tide was
quite out so most seabirds were quite far for decent scoping.

Birds worth mentioning were:

2 Evening grosbeaks - Waterville
1 Field sparrow - Waterville
4 Harlequin Ducks - 2 male, 2 female - Port George/ Cottage Cove - close to
the rocks
1 Red throated loon - Port George/ Cottage Cove
1 Common loon - Port George/ Cottage Cove
1 Western Tanager - Middleton
10? Pine Siskins - Middleton
1 male Lesser Black backed gull - Canard poultry plant

Thanks to all who sent recent updates

Cheers
Liz
