Index of Subjects Wed Mar 25 : A cheerful sight mid-morning to add to the pleasure of a milder, sunny day in the Valley. A flock of 60-70 Bohemian Waxwings were noisily taking turns feeding on the reddy-orange fruit of an ornamental crab apple tree on Main St, Wolfville, opposite the Pharmacare Drug Store. This crab apple tree has clusters of berries the size of cherries - which waxwings and robins love - and were obviously enjoying the feast.
