hi folks,

Today, I started up morning point counts at Miner's Marsh again (7:45 am).
Singing species included *Song Sparrow*, *Northern Cardinal*, *White-breasted
Nuthatch*, *Black-capped Chickadee*

I checked my records and last year's first Red-winged Blackbird was 3 April
and first Tree Swallow (in sleet) was 5 April.

eBird checklist: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S22523761

cheers,
