While at the Historic Farmers' Market at the Brewery yesterday morning (18 April) in downtown Halifax, I saw a fine display of Coltsfoot in bloom. The plants were on the east-facing gravel bank below Hollis Street, at the edge of the Brewery's Bishop Street parking lot. The first I've seen in bloom this year - much later than usual. Patricia L.
