My neighbours in Tupperville found a barn swallow flapping in the bottom of
a bucket in their barn yesterday. There are usually barn swallows that nest
in their barn. It seems that a pair of them returned very early this year,
spotted flying about the exterior of the barn during last weekend. The barn
swallow was taken outside the barn in hopes it would recover, but it
succumbed a few hours later. It was very cold yesterday.

Donna Crossland (I'll try to make my next entry a happy one! Lots of deer
down this way that have survived the winter. Peeper were wonderfully loud
last night!)
