Index of Subjects As usual I have Evening Grosbeaks in E Dalhousie, Kings Co. I have always thought of some Grosbeaks and other finches as appearing sporadically, often moving about widely to tap on good food sources. But the Dalhousie Evening Grosbeaks seem to be permanent. I always encounter them somewhere in this area no matter what season- in forested areas with no feeders around. Seems like there is a resident population here that travels only within a small radius.
