I enjoyed my first walkabout at Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park this
morning, about a 2-1/2 hour effort. 12 warbler species were on territory
including *Canada Warbler*. Reliable nesting species such as *Common
Yellowthroat* and *American Redstart *were not found although I've met
them in other locations including my own back yard. *Nashville Warbler*
is a recent arrival, possibly last night's.
Laura and I found a Canada Warbler here about 14 years ago when we first
birded this area. Each year thereafter Canada Warbler has nested in the
same location, a 20 metre wide stretch of Acadian forest complete with
the obligatory wet understory.
