I visited Belleisle in the fog this morning and managed to hear a total =
of 9 Sora and counted 17 Bobolinks. The only flycatcher heard was a =
Least along the road to the Northeast impoundment. I did see two empids =
along the road on the eastern side of the loop and had entered them as =
Alder. Given the location I have since changed it to show Alder/Willow.

I was a bit surprised at the lack of Swallows, in 4 hours I saw just 2 =
Bank Swallows. Similar results at Annapolis Royal where most of the Tree =
Swallows must have already fledged and departed with the exception of a =
group of 5 juveniles that were getting occasional visits from 2 adults. =
I did see good numbers of Cliff Swallows at the causeway though.

Subject: [NatureNS] Sora Rails at Belleisle Marsh

I was at Belleisle Marsh yesterday and the water level is the highest =
that I've ever seen it there. Especially for this time of the year. I =
was able to determine that there were at least four adult sora rails =
there. I saw two of them briefly as they moved through the reeds. No =
sign of the willow flycatcher. =20
