Good day

Besides domestic or feral cats is there anything else that would kill small
mammals but not consume them?

A few days ago I came across a dead Shrew on our garden path.
Then today, dead on the same path, were a Star-nosed Mole and and some sort
of Meadow Vole.
There were no signs of injury on the Star-nosed whereas the other two
seemed to have puncture wounds. Pics are available.

Just wondering if I should should be setting up a live trap ...

Thanks for any info
