--20cf307ac7ab31a210051d2692fa Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 The Blomidon Naturalists Society is recruiting individuals for three volunteer positions: *BNS Program Committee (2 positions) *The program committee is about putting BNS values and interests into action. The main task is to determine what could and should be done to best foster awareness, appreciation and enjoyment of the natural world by those in our region. We have recently added a number of exciting new programs to our repertoire and have many new ideas we would like to explore further. We are looking to add two individuals to our programming committee to assist with: 1) *development and planning of meetings, events and field trips* 2) further development of *programming for children and young families* throughout the year *BNS Publicity and Social Media Coordinator (1 position) *Publicity plays a vital part in spreading the word about BNS happenings and reaching new audiences. With the rise in the use of social media we also now have an active Facebook Group (120 members) and Twitter account (250 followers). The Publicity and Social Media Coordinator will advertise our events via social media and with the major publicity agencies, and moderate and kindle our active social media accounts.
