Lots of them here in Hubbards for the second year in a row. Also a Grackle  
invasion today, 20 to 30 birds invading the feeders and driving off all the 
 regulars.

THANKS,  JUNIE!  The beaks should be blackish, right?  and often its the  
adult male that tends them, while the female starts another nest and clutch  
of eggs etc.  They keep on nesting throughout the season, into the  early

The pair of birds came back this evening and  stayed long enough to 
identify them as juvenile cardinals. I've never seen  the juveniles before. They 
hung out at the feeder and on the ground for a  long  time.
