I have been hearing the sporadic individual late-season Spring Peeper calls over the past few weeks. Early this morning one was 8' up on the vertical wall above a veranda post:

The white background nicely shows off its adhesive toe pads. Then it surprised me by moving along this vertical surface quite briskly.
