hi folks,

In case you are interested, and available Sunday, below is a message from
Richard indicating that the Brier Island Hawk Watch trip is postponed.
(The original field trip notice is here:
http://www.blomidonnaturalists.ca/node/605)

"Please disseminate this appropriately.

The weather is not looking conducive for a trip on Saturday - cloudy,
showers, high winds. However, Sunday is looking better - mainly sunny with
moderate NE winds - could be good for Hawks. So I propose changing the trip
to Sunday - same arrangements as before. Meet 10:15 behind the store, or
earlier at Northern Light if people want.

Note- the cafe is closed for the season, so bring your own food. The Lodge
restaurant will be open, but short staffed - so long waits and limited
menu. The hostel is still open. The ground will be wet, so rubber boots
would be a good idea. High tide at Pond Cove is around 5pm, which is good
for looking for shorebirds in the afternoon.

Richard Stern"

Please register with me if interested.
James.
