    <span style=3D"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Striped Bass, <em=
>Morone saxatilis, </em>is an anadromous fish native to the eastern coast o=
f North America with populations ranging from the Gulf of Mexico to the St.=
Lawrence River, QC. Striped Bass have supported important commercial and r=
ecreational fisheries throughout the range, however, changes in population a=
bundance over the past several decades and increased interest from recreati=
onal fisheries have brought this sportfish into the spotlight for conservat=
ionists and anglers alike. The talk will focus on the life history of Strip=
ed Bass in the Maritimes, current status of Canadian populations and will t=
ouch on results from ongoing local acoustic telemetry projects.&#160;&#160;=
