And now, the Pre-Vet program at Dal's Faculty of Agriculture in Truro is actually PARTICIPATING in killing wildlife by working with the TNR people to release more and more cats into the wild. I wrote to them and got trite answers back. Releasing cats to the wild is wrong. Feeding them and giving them veterinary care makes them stronger exotic predators. They spread diseases to wildlife and people. On and on and on. I have publically asked our local group for a debate on the issue...twice. They haven't so much as acknowledged me, let alone agreed.
