A map of global wind and ocean current, click on the word "earth" in lower
left and you can play around with the various heights of wind. I really
don't understand it all, but find it interesting to see the difference in
speed and direction of the winds at different elevations. You can zoom in
on the map by clicking on specific areas and also "grab" and rotate the
earth image.

It would be interesting to be able to go back to maps of the days of bird
migration fall outs to see patterns.
