Yesterday a few of us were puzzled by a distant apparently small buteo in
the trees east of Fred Thomas Road, near Canning. I have passed the
(blurry, distant, heavily cropped) photos around, and the consensus is that
it's likely a Juv. Broad wing. People in the area should try and get better
looks. Note, the area is full of Red -tails and Bald eagles of all ages too.
