haven't visited the Kemptown Intervale in a number of years,  but=
it certainly used to be a marvellous place in the spring.  I remember=
the first time I went there, in the early 1990's.   It was i=
n the early years of the Nova Scotia Wild Flora Society, and the field trip=
was led by Dr. Pierre Taschereau.  I remember Pierre reminiscing in t=
he car about Dr. Albert Roland; he told us that Dr. Roland had always said =
that the Kemptown Intervale was the richest botanical site in Nova Scotia.&=
#160; It certainly had the largest number of rare species, in a very limite=
d area, that I have ever seen.</span></p>=20

ver which they are not supposed to in the first place? If so then most of t=
hose plants will not survive the naked sunlight. Nick there are only a few =
of us on NatureNS that know and have visited this area so that is probably =
