<span style="font-size: 12pt;">This morning while doing some chores in the yard, I saw a hawk flying around.<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">I sat down to watch and it landed up a tall oak tree about 100m away.<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">It could see me and we watched each other for a few minutes. Then it flew<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">and came straight at me. On a downward plane. When it got about 10 m away it<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">flared up and sat on a limb just over my head. It looked down and turned its head<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">for a better look. I never saw a curious hawk before! Then it flew of.<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">From my Bird Book it was a hatch year Coopers Hawk. It had a rounded tail and a brown<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">streaked breast. The bird in the book was its twin!<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">No doubt a young bird just learning to fly out inspecting the big world!<br/></span>
