I suspect that the stories of Wild Turkeys eradicating ticks are more =
than just a little exaggerated. This has been a talking point of folks =
in favour of Turkey introductions for decades. The ticks that are now =
expanding Northward into and through our province originated in areas =
with native Wild Turkey populations. They in fact do quite well =
alongside Turkeys in many areas south of the border.
