<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Well folks - I don't like fishing i=

<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Been there - done that! so I will talk =
about Mayflowers!<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">The best scent I ever experienced was a=
bout May 10 a few<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">years ago - maybe many! I was at Peskaw=
a Lake and needed<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">to come down Peskawesk Lake to get to t=
he end during the day.<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">So I left before daylight and got to th=
e Beaverskin - Peskawesk portage<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">just as sun was breaking the horizon. T=
here was no wind either.<br/></span>

<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">The scent of Mayflowers on the Portage =
was like I never experienced before<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">or after. Just beautiful. A pair of Hor=
ned Owls escorted me over the Portage.<br/></span>

<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Every time something banged on the cano=
e they hooted! I guess they were<br/></span>

<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">not familiar with canoes being portaged=
!<br/></span>

<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Latter at a Loon Count -  I saw ma=
ny Indian Pipe ( Monotropa uniflora ) on the Portage.<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">I don't know if the two have some s=
ort of a relationship or if it was by chance.<br/></span>
</div>=20
<div>
<span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">A wonderful morning! Good memories!<br/=
