Its like they dropped from the sky overnight and began singing this morning.
I noticed a significant increase in spring birds in my woods and stream
area today.

New for this year and vocalizing:

Least Flycatcher-1
Red-eyed Vireo-1
Yellow Warbler-1
Common Yellowthroat-2
American Redstart-1

Rose-breasted Grosbeak, males increased from 1 bird to 3
Ovenbirds vocalizing increased from 2 to 4

Still missing my Veerys and RT Humminbirds

Half a km down the road yesterday there were 2 FOY Barn Swallows on the
telephone lines. Encouraging because last season there was only a single
Barn Swallow in that area for the last few weeks of summer.
