  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hi All</span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Yesterday I went for a paddle on Grafton Lake in Keji.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The most complete paddle I&#39;ve done there since the<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">water was let down 25 ( approx.&#160;) years ago and the<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">shoreline is very interesting.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">There are 3 levels to the surrounding hills - the original<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">level with some nice old white pines, the level that the was</span>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;"><br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">exposed when the water went down, this level has a mixed<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">forest and is about 1/3 the height of the old level.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">And then there is the level that gets flooded at high water.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Grass, shrubs like Leatherleaf and bare rocks. An varied collection.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">When the water was up, the standing dead trees were home to<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">a large number of Tree Swallows. None yesterday but maybe they<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">have left already. A few Red Winged Blackbirds, a few Terns and<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">a brood of very young Ring Necks with their mother - only a couple <br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">of days old. A couple of Black Ducks, an Eagle and a Loon.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Woodland birds flirting about in the trees but to far to ID!<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">A great paddle but if you go there be warned that the old maps<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">are of no use. Islands have became points, islands have sprung<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">up that are not marked and places where the map shows paddling water<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">are now Leatherleaf meadows!<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">But if you want a good nights sleep, go paddle the lake for a day!<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enjoy the summer<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Paul<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">&#160;</span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">&#160;</span>
  </div>

</body></html>
