Hello: Aug 10, 2017
I see in today's Chronicle Hrld. (p. D3) that Gus, who lives at the
"National Museum of History" will be 95 on Sunday. Acronyms such as MNH can
confuse apparently but I am sure he lives at the Museum of Natural HIstory.

But this got me wondering why Natural History is not called something else
such as Natural Knowledge, Nature, Cosmos... As a guess it was a nod to
early French Biologists where Histoire may mean history, story, tale,
matter, affair and likely more.

Whatever the background may be; Happy Birthday Gus.
Yt, DW, Kentville
