We had six Painted Ladys on one set of daisy-like flowers. Among them
was an American Lady and later had a Red Admiral on Garlic flowers. At
the BNS meeting a couple of naturalists reported seeing hundreds of
Painted Ladys 'like leaves on the ground' .

>Painted Ladies are becoming quite numerous, here in Waverley anyway.
>This morning there were over a dozen in our neighbour's garden, both on
>her Buddleia and also her Echinacea. We also saw many on various
>roadside flowers (especially a small aster) and just flying around
>energetically.
>
>We haven't seen any American Ladies or Red Admirals for some time.
