I'm currently in eastern Ontario and we are seeing a major migration of Painted Ladys.  A friend at a summer place near Rossport on Lake Superior said they are up there too.  Can you imagine the numbers of them considering how widespread the sightings are right now?
 There was a story on the CBC website a couple of days ago - about the reason for so many in southern Quebec.  see link below.
