My brother was commenting yesterday about the large groups of Boreal Chickadees he's been seeing in the woods at both Sight Pt on the W side of Cape Breton and Ketch Harbour, HRM. The flocks at Sight Pt were way back into the forest up the hill- a place he has never encountered them before. Possibly banding together more than usual well back from the shore due to the extreme cold and winds. Anyone else noticing this? Nancy
