My career spans 30 years at NSM, and I met many of you in the naturens comm=
unity over the course of those decades.=C2=A0I am proud of my accomplishmen=
ts: publishing 3 books (1 as a museum employee), an ebook and 2 apps. Given=
 the job of curating a collection that had never been catalogued, I have sp=
ent half of my last 18 years cataloguing and data entering 40,000 specimens=
.=C2=A0

=C2=A0

My collaborations have been largely external. I maintained my relationship =
with Acadia University since a student there in the 1980s and 1990s. The re=
cent ebook, NS Plants was coauthored with my friends and mentors from Acadi=
a.=C2=A0 I built relationships with the IWK Poison Centre, NSAC Ornamental =
Horticulture group, NS TIR Environmental, City of Halifax Environment group=
 and many others over the years. I served as Secretary, Vice-President, and=
 Director of the Canadian Botanical Association from 2005-2015. I led the N=
etukulimk team to revamp the foyer, building a welcoming space for our visi=
tors.

=C2=A0

Many of you contributed to my success, providing me notes, comments and pho=
tos. The Nova Scotia Plants ebook alone had a contributor list of over 40 i=
ndividuals! I am forever indebted to Dr. Sam vanderKloet for his guidance a=
nd support while I was his student. And to Ruth Newell, my friend and mento=
r. Thank you all. For those who wish to remain in touch, I am the=C2=A0
