The Landbird Species at Risk in Forested Wetlands Project is recruiting =
for volunteers to look for three species =96 Canada Warbler, Olive-sided =
Flycatcher, and Rusty Blackbird =96 in forested wetland habitats in Nova =
Scotia during the 2018 breeding season. Project goals are to identify =
important breeding locations for these species and to encourage =
stewardship of their habitat. The talk will summarize what is known =
about these birds and their habitats, provide identification tips, and =
explain the different ways that volunteers can participate.


Meetings generally run 2 hours with time at the conclusion of the talk =
for refreshments. Please join us as these talks are open to members and =
the general public. There is no fee for attending.
