The five digits at the end would be right, but I'm missing a digit or so wi=
th the first part as the mallard would not position itself to allow me to s=
ee the number. It might be 2101-96950 or some other digit. 2100-96950 is =
for an older band for a ruby-crowned kinglet.

Was the band bi-coloured? Perhaps the bird is of domestic origin. The other=
possibility is a bird banded in a country other than Canada or the US, but=
this seems highly unlikely for a mallard.
