No sign of the egret this evening. The western willet was there though. I=
received an email of an egret across from the old post office at Rose Bay =
so suspect that it is the same bird. It was described as a cattle egret wi=
th breeding plumes, but the location suggests not a cattle egret, but anoth=
er species. It was listed as a common egret in the body of the email, whic=
h I believe is the old name for the great egret.
