Two Indigo Bunting arrived in the town of Yarmouth yesterday. We did not have many overwintering ones in NS, the nearest reported being on Brier I (still present at that feeder today). Photos are pending.

As you see from the NSBS SFA table, these birds were pretty much on time compared to the previous four years. http://www.nsbirdsociety.ca/library/resources/spring-first-arrivals

Keep an eye on your feeders. That is usually the first place they go to.
