Wood Duck is a definite possibility. Lots of well-grown juveniles on their own plus an adult or two on the marsh. I have heard snipe in the area but not recently. Thanks for taking a listen.

This unseen bird sounded to be flying over the marsh away from my location. It’s the repeated call and not the grackles etc I am referring to. I only amplified this sound to keep the quality intact. Ignore the “rail/crake spp” designation. I just put it under a benign category to see the spectrogram. Thoughts?
