For some reason they love to nest under the ramps leading down to the floats. That means that there is only a 1 inch board between them and the boaters and they are about 2 to 6 feet above the water depending on the tide but it doesn't seem to bother them. On a separate subject the weather is doing weird things with my Chanterelle collecting. A week ago there were lots of good ones but in the last few days absolutely nothing and not sure why.
