Judging by the number of swallows that were dive bombing me as I walked =
to my boat in the cove, there must have been a very successful hatching. =
For some reason they love to nest under the ramps leading down to the =
floats. That means that there is only a 1 inch board between them and =
the boaters and they are about 2 to 6 feet above the water depending on =
the tide but it doesn't seem to bother them.
On a separate subject the weather is doing weird things with my =
Chanterelle collecting. A week ago there were lots of good ones but in =
the last few days absolutely nothing and not sure why.
