Agree- you notice the most things in almost all habitats when you stop and sit for awhile, or pull over the boat, stop the ATV… . 

Whereabouts did you see the Sora? No need to be specific. The recorded eBird sightings for Sep are not along the Atlantic side of NS, where you usually are.
