The variety of our bird-feeder visitors has suddenly become more interesting
with visits from a pair of Pine Siskins over the weekend and three male
Evening Grosbeaks this morning. Also the Red-breasted Nuthatches have
returned from a two month's absence. We haven't seen EVGRs for several
years so it was a most pleasant sight.

Bernard Forsythe who lives about a km east of us has been seeing these
species more often and even had a Brown Creeper one day. Unfortunately the
Barred Owls have not been so accommodating.

Cheers,

Judy Tufts
