Spring is slow birdwise here in E Dalhousie, Kings so far. But today a pair of Wood Ducks arrived in the strip of open water along the shore of still frozen L Torment. They may have their eyes on the nearby nest box a Wood Duck has nested in most years. And there was an early singing Palm Warbler in a small spruce tree along the North River Rd, Lun Co. this morning.
