Two days ago I was sent notification of a sighting of an eastern meadowlark=
. The reportee was Jon Prentiss. This bird was sighted half way out on th=
e First Peninsula Road near the new wharf. Kevin Lantz was able to get pho=
tos of this bird today.

I received a phone call this morning from Paul Clarke of a barn swallow cou=
rsing along the river by Shipyards Landing in Bridgewater. Paul was the on=
e who reported a tree swallow a few weeks ago over Wentzell's Lake. I was =
able to confirm and see the barn swallow at 14:45 this afternoon. It made =
a pass by me almost close enough to tough, but it went past like a bullet s=
o I was not able to get a photo and I did not see it again. At this spot I=
also saw my first Savannah sparrow for the year.
